The main understanding that I have taken from it on this read-through is that I must be mindful at this time not to get caught in the cross-fire or the why's, how's and where's of contributing to the 'cause' - I, like so many bloggers I have come across in the past week, feel at a loss to express my sympathies and deep feeling for the victims of the Queensland and Victorian floods, the WA fires, the Haitian people still without homes a year on from the devastating hurricane that flattened their homes, the landslides and floods that have obliterated towns in Brazil and left over 650 dead now...... It's all too much pain for me to personally go into and wade and wallow in. And it's not mine to "take on" in the first place.
So all I have, after donating money (which is something but doesn't feel nearly enough in comparison to the visions I'm seeing on the TV) is the effort I make, even if purely energetic, to contribute to the support of the All. Obviously, I can't get on a plane to help clean up in Brazil, for example, but I am able to give my time and energy to performing clearings here at home. There is no room at a time like this for doubt or concern that I am not doing enough (or doing anything to effect any change at all) - this sort of thinking is what stifles any action at all. Call it prayer, call it meditation, call it positive thought towards..... Any action in this way has to be better than my inaction. While I clear, my intent is genuine and helps not only to clear the space in my immediate environment (which makes me so much more effective in my work), it also contributes to the positive support of those doing the physical job of cleaning up.
The world is hurting. If I can contribute to the collective goodwill in any way, however small it might at first appear, then I will.

The issue you face here concerns your method of working with the world and coming to terms with sifting and sorting the ways you use the abundant resources and energetic abilities that have been given to you. These resources and abilities constitute a most worthy gift to be given to the world—if they are given freely and with a whole and open heart, without the sense that somehow you own these gifts and without being caught in the grapple-hook of receivership-responsibility. Accepting that you must share these gifts is your spiritual onus and will provide basic learning and discipline for you.
Therefore, before you decide whether to deliver these gifts and abilities to the world, you should discern whether you are, in fact, able to do so. (And such discernment will be yet another discipline for you to learn!) Your task will be to act in good faith and be available to receive abundance from the Elders for the sake of healing a constriction, or repairing the tears in the threads of Earth’s depressions and repressions. If you are to do such mending, then do not recoil and be caught in the crossfire of comparisons. Please just accept this creative endeavour!
In this time of quick change, growth and physical emergency, you should honour the call by taking up physical tools. Go beyond grappling with giving and/or getting hooked up in the how of helping for this will only hinder and hesitate the hike you are honing.
This Mandala is the Elders’ assistance to you so that you can, indeed, deliver a helping hand to the world and distribute your gifts. This Mandala will provide you with a firm scaffold as you scale to new heights of repairing and building. It will offer you a homing signal so that you will know the point where you are eventually to deliver the Elders’ gift. Each of these “delivery-points” is a safe place—a point of reference that will direct you towards your destination—so that before you proceed onwards you will know that you are well ready to continue.
When you are apprentices in the art of holding and manifesting energy into matter, it is not what you think should be built, or become a matter, that matters. Instead it is the customers’ orders that create the address and the Elders’ orders that design the dream home you are putting form to. You must learn how to act according to those specifications and plans, and use only the tools that you have been given.
